A child’s baptism is a public declaration from the child’s parents/carers to nurture them on their journey of faith. It is a formal welcome into the family and life of the Christian church. The Church will declare together that they will support you and your child in whatever way they can, as you commit to nurturing them in a life of faith, in Jesus.
You may have been baptized at a christening when you were a child or in a different Christian tradition, and there are always special ways to renew the promises that were made then in a fresh way as you discover more about what it means to live them out in your life.
Baptisms are held in our Sunday morning celebrations. We believe that baptism is a significant occasion, worth celebrating, so we like to plan them in carefully. Please get in touch to speak to someone about arranging and preparing for a baptism.
